Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue ellis-taylor, an American stage and screen actor and producer. She is most famous as an actress in films for her role in Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) as well as The Mentalist. She earned an undergraduate degree in African-American Studies at Brown University and also a Master of acting at the Tisch School for the Art New York University. Aunjanue Ellis is an American actor and producer active in film, theater, as well as television. Her career in acting began at the theatre. Then she appeared on various television series in independent films, mainstream and films. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. Then, she made an appearance in BET's epic television series The Book of Negroes. In 1995 she debuted as Ariel on stage as Ariel in The Tempest. Alongside the Broadway production Come and Gone, she is also credited in Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis. Coming to her movie career she is best known for her performances in films such as Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express and The Help.
