Shailene has been a popular American actress and activist. Woodley became famous for her performance as Alexandra "Alex" King, a teenager struggling with addiction issues as seen in The Descendants. Apart from the well-respected performance during The Descendants, Shailene has performed several roles which showed off her talent for portraying difficult characters with ease. Shailene's early career success in the film industry is impressive. Following her start with commercials and television, her next step was to take on prominent roles in Hollywood films.
