Dennings was involved in a romantic relationship to Nick Zano (co-star of "2 Broke Girls") in 2011 through 2014. Following their breakup the couple began to date Josh Groban. The couple remained together up till 2016. Dennings met for the first time Andrew W.K., a musician in the early years of 2021. In the course of a few months, the two began to meet and by the end of May of 2020 revealed their wedding. Dennings has been a faithful follower of the musician. She's been following him since the year 2014. Though Dennings was Jewish and has stated that she identifies more with the faith on an ethnic and cultural level and is not a religious integral part of her daily life. She enjoys gardening, reading, and drawing. In the past she planned to apply to art school until it was ruined after the entire portfolio of her was destroyed through flooding. It was the flood that prompted her to begin acting. She isn't a drinker or smoke, and she is a fan of Transcendental Meditation. Additionally, she is an animal rights activist and has a pet cat.
