
Stevland Haraway Morris (ne Judkins) was born on the 13th of May, 1950. He is best known as Stevie Wonder and is considered to be a pioneering musician as well as an influencer on musicians of different genres, from rhythm and blues to jazz to gospel, soul, and jazz. A virtual one-man-band, Wonder's use for synthesizers and other electronic instruments in the 1970s transformed the norms of R&B. The musician also contributed to bringing these styles into the album age and made his LPs unison and consistent, in addition to explicit statements about social consciousness with intricate compositions. Blind since the day of the birth of his son, Wonder was a child prodigy. He signed with Motown's Tamla label at the age of 11 and was given the professional title Little Stevie Wonder. Wonder's critical acclaim was at its highest in the 1970s. His "classic" period began in 1972, with Music of My Mind and Talking Book. The latter featured "Superstition" as the most famous and well-known instance of the Hohner Clavinet keyboard sound. His works Innervisions (1973), Fulfillingness"First Finale (1974) and Songs in the Key of Life (1976) all received the Grammy Award for Album of the Year. This makes him the holder of the tie-record for the most albums of the Year wins, with three. Wonder is the only artist to win the award for three consecutive album releases. Wonder started his "commercial period" in the late 1980s. the artist had his biggest albums and highest levels of fame. He had also seen an increase in album sales, charity participation and high-profile collaborations
